Pet Rescue Alliance is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing dogs from rural high kill shelters in the state of Texas. Our alliance of volunteers, local veterinarians, trainers, and boarding facilities, in Texas and Virginia work together to identify dogs in urgent need, place them in foster homes for rehabilitation, carefully screen potential adopters for high quality forever homes, and strive to create a long lasting relationship between adopters and PRA. Our mission is to expand the model we have successfully developed in Texas, to other states where dogs are in need. Our hope is that every dog that comes through PRA will have their peanut butter wishes and dog bone dreams come true.
