To partner with the community to prevent animal cruelty, provide humane education, promote adoptions, and actively endorse spayneuter programs. We respect and support the growing sentiment that dogs and cats are valued family members.
SHELTER
To provide shelter to the homeless animals of Jessamine County. To give them nourishment, medical attention and help them feel safe and cared about throughout their stay.
ADOPT
Increase the adoption rate through local, statewide and out of state adoptions and to utilize the vast network of quality rescues available.
VOLUNTEER
Partner with the community of Jessamine County to become a shelter that the county is proud of. To invite service groups and individuals to take an active role in the S.A.V.E. Center.
EDUCATE
Work with the schools of Jessamine County to educate children on the humane treatment of animals, the importance of spaying and neutering and responsible pet ownership.
