1801-0375 Beau the Dog needs a home
Beau stood quietly when I approached. It was clear he was shy and unsure whether or not he should trust me but his desire to go outside the cage took over his timidity and he accepted me. With each step in the process of getting him out, his energy grew. I could sense his excitement even though he remained as calm cool and collected as he could. He didn’t want me to see I guess! But I could tell. Outside he was easy going, pleasant walking at my side, and curious about this new environment. Beau was surrendered with another dog (Angel #1801-0376) when his family had to move and couldn’t take them. He is 5 years old, house trained and has lived with kids, cats and others dogs his whole life. He loves to run and play. He knows sit, down and gimme five. Beau is a boy who, because of his nervousness in the shelter, seems to have a thin wall around him but it's just that, thin, and with a little time and patience, he realizes he can trust you and he does.
