Adopt a Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat)

THE MOSTLY BLACK FUR SPECKLED WITH WHITE RADIATED AS NEVEAH TROTTED NEXT TO ME.  Her pudgy tummy swayed this way and that as her white tipped paws tapped on the pavement. NEVEAH is fun.  She's playful and energetic. She already knows commands sit and down.  At only a year old she needs daily exercise and training to learn new things, keep her mind busy working as well as her body.  She's pretty good walking on a leash considering her youth and we are told she needs durable toys with her puppy chewing and play.  NEVEAH is not quite house trained so a new family with some patience is necessary to help NEVEAH through some more learning based on a consistent schedule to get her fully house trained.  NEVEAH loves to play and showed me this out in the barnyard.  She wasn't chasing tennis balls but instead just running around with her little head high and happy face on.  She jumps up in excitement but is easily corrected, again, training and consistency.  NEVEAH likes kids.  She loves her humans.  She's great with all the two leggers but when it comes to the four leggers, it's a different story.  NEVEAH does not like other dogs or animals.  It's safe to say she needs and prefers to be an only pet.  We are told by her previous owners that she has shown some possessiveness over her toys and food but this behavior may be directed towards other dogs, animals in particular.  NEVEAH is a puppy with basic puppy needs, daily training, daily exercise, daily attention and love.  Do you have the patience and experience to help NEVEAH settle into a new home with a new family and become a well balanced adult dog?  If you are the one, please come visit with her.
