Grommit the Dog needs a home
Grommit is a lovely Jack Russell Terrier mix, approximately 7 years old and 20 pounds. He has good energy but most enjoys snuggling at home with his humans. Grommit is very quiet, housetrained, and does great with adults and children alike. He has been through professional training, so he knows basic commands and walks great on leash! Bigger dogs make him feel defensive, but he might be able to live with other dogs his size or smaller. Grommit comes from a very sad background - shot, burned and cut, this poor little guy was in rough shape when he was rescued from the South LA shelter, but it was clear from day one that he was a lover, not a fighter. He’s come a long way from the injured, nervous shelter dog he was - now he is one of the sweetest, best-behaved dogs! He really just wants as much cuddles and love as he can get.. Grommit is up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, neutered. Current caretaker will work with whoever adopts Grommit to demonstrate his training, which has helped him feel comfortable and relaxed and should be continued in his new home.
