Adopt a Pointer / Mixed (short coat)
Shiloh the Dog needs a home
Hi, my name is Shiloh and I'm about 3 years old. I was rescued by Bond County Humane Society from Bond County Animal Control. I was found along with my 5 puppies in a cardboard box when my puppies were about 1 week old. I took care of my puppies so they could find loving homes and now it's my turn to find a loving home. I am currently living in a foster home with 2 adults, 2 dogs and 2 cats. I definitely bond with females. I follow my foster mom everywhere she goes. I am very timid, shy and frightened around males. I am not as frightened of children. When my foster mom is gone I will allow my foster dad to take me outside and for walks. When my foster mom is home I only want her to do things for me. My foster dad uses the other dogs to encourage me to come to him. I like to go for walks and play time with the dogs and cats in my foster family. I am not a vocal dog. My ideal family will not have any small children and will have a fenced yard. It would be helpful if my new family knew training methods and would work with me to become more socialized with men and children. Having another dog in the house would be helpful. I am crate trained and house trained. I am available for immediate adoption, but I will need to be introduced gradually into a new home. I am spayed, UTD on vaccinations, heartworm tested, treated for internal and external parasites and microchipped. My adoption fee is $150.00. If you are interested in making me a member of your family please complete an Adoption Profile in person or on-line at www.bondcohs.petfinder.com. Email the completed profile to the address provided.
