Julie is just the most adorable little beagle girl ever! She was in an area Animal Control Facility and absolutely scared to pieces. We learned quickly that she is not a brave soul, and she is very timid around most people until she is sure that she can trust you. She seems as though she WANTS to trust people and have human contact, but she is very wary. She is always in flight mode, and she is very agile and quite the climber, so sometimes she does present some containment challenges.
We’re looking for a very special home for Julie … one where she will get lots of one-on-one attention and love so she can truly have a happily-ever-after. Her new family is going to have to be so, so, so watchful with her to insure she doesn’t escape. She is too sweet to go through life scared of everything!
If you think Julie might be the perfect pup for you, please go to www.allamericanmuttrescue.org, click on Forms/Application and complete your adoption application online.
We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits. You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references. Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have multiple applications in process. We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible.
When your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet to see if Julie picks you too.
If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee, and an adoption contract to be signed.
Please feel free to email [email protected] if you have additional questions.
