MEET SOPHIE!! 



Sophie is 6 yr. old Shepherd/Cattle dog mix and is looking for a furever home!

She is a super playful and fun girl. She is an AWESOME fetch dog! She loves to run and jump and pounce on the ball as long as you're willing to toss it! 

Sophie is a great leash walker and already knows basic obedience commands.

She is wonderful with all people and would do just fine with kids. She's not overly fond of other dogs, she finds them more annoying than anything. But she may do well with an aloof non-responsive other dog in the home. She is not good with cats, so she'll need a feline free home. 

Here's what her Day Fosters have said about her: 
Sophie, was surrendered for being "hyper." Sophie had the pleasure of spending the day with a couple of our Day Foster volunteers this weekend and they discovered that she truly isn't hyper -- just eager to get out of the shelter.




Sophie was great in the car. While out and about, she never showed any signs of agression. She got a doggie bath and did

n't bark or growl at any of the other dogs around her. Sophie is independent, but still likes to be around people and gave lots of kisses.

If you are interested in meeting Sophie, please send us an email and we will make sure that one of the volunteers at the Eastside shelter will meet you there for intros. Be sure to take her ID number with you, so they can locate the dog you are interested in.
