Adopt a Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat)

I can not deny that I am madly in love with this cutie! Her personality reminds me of a sunny day, even as we spent our time together rolling around in a muddy barnyard! Nothing gets this girl down and in turn she literally lifted my spirits just by being around her! There something to be said about a dog that can do that for you!

Charlotte is a 6 year old female pit mix. She's chunky and gorgeous and happy and perfect! She came to us as an owner surrender with a bit of good info attached. She is crate and potty trained. She does not like cats. She has always lived with other dogs. She likes most kids. Not sure exactly what that means, but I am assuming she likes kids that are respectful of her, like any other dog. She can be a bit skittish around men, but is super affectionate and smart once comfortable with you. So me and Charlotte were besties in about 30 seconds, so I'd say she is going to be the apple of someone's eye in no time flat.

We played outside in the barnyard where she really enjoyed playing fetch and catching treats I tossed in the air for her. She knew the sit command and she just had a really easy going way about her. I really enjoyed my time with her outside. After we were done playing she was so muddy that I took her in for a bath. She put on the breaks when I picked her up to go in the tub, but once in she was a good girl. She was clearly nervous in the tub, but did not act up at all, and smelled so much better after it was over. She pranced back to her kennel and gave me those puppy dog eyes begging me to not leave her. This is where you come in. I can't bring Charlotte home as my house is full, but she is too special to be siting in a shelter without a family.
