Adopt a Tabby / Mixed (short coat)
Glenda the Cat needs a home
I first met Glenda on December 27 when my wife and I stopped by to visit the kitties. Glenda expressed her displeasure in no uncertain terms when I first entered the room, but before long she briefly allowed me to pet the top of her head. I visit her frequently. Over the past few days she's butted my hand with her head, allowed me to change her bedding and clean her haven and has even started to purr. On January 6 we moved her from iso to a haven. She sat in my lap for the first time and was content to stay there for quite a while. She will make someone a nice lap cat when the right person comes along.
Other notes regarding Glenda:
Dislikes: loud people, cat carriers and trips to the doctor
Likes: cats, quiet people, enclosed warm spaces
Glenda is a small tabby cat who likes well-mannered roommates who will snuggle with her. Her past experiences with "outside" did not impress her and she is that rare cat who does not sit in the window or the sunshine. Visits to the vet have been accompanied by "witchy howls" even though she is normally a very quiet cat. She likes sleeping in the coziest place she can find-usually in a bed under the table in her room.
