SWEET & HAPPY NATURED: 5 years old / 50 lbs. I'm currently going through my heart-worm treatment, so I won't be at adoptions until the beginning of March. I'm still available for adoption during that time and you can inquire about me at [email protected]. I’m a happy dog whose whole-body wiggles when it’s time for me to come out and go for a walk or spend time with the volunteers. I just love snuggling and being with people and I’ve met some great dogs at the MM shelter that I love playing with, so if you have a playful dog at home, let’s meet. I’m a little overweight and would like my family to help me get to my ideal weight, so I can be my best. I love getting out for walks with the volunteers and my leash manners are improving. My potty manners have been good on the shelter schedule, so hopefully that will translate to house trained in my new home. I’m curious, lovable and friendly, and can’t wait to find my new family! I value my toys and food a bit too much and have shown some aggression regarding them. I’ve improved with my food challenges with the training I’m getting, however I have a way to go with my toy possessiveness, so I’m not allowed to have toys at the MM facility without my trainer. Ask for details about this so you can continue my training at home. I probably should not live in a home with cats, as I met at cat at MM and was a little too interested in him. A home with older teens is best for me due to the behavior listed above, and please feed me separate from other pets and use caution with toys. Energy level: 4-6. I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, spayed and my adoption fee is $275.00.
