ANGEL LIED CURLED UP IN A BALL, HEAD UP LOOKING AT ME TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHO I WAS. She let me enter her cage although I saw her tongue lick her lips in a nervous fashion. I sat gently next to her. She stretched out her petite head to my leg and sniffed. She stood up and moved closer, again sniffing me. Within moments she leaned over and gave me a kiss. It made my heart smile. She accepted me so quickly even though she’s in this unfamiliar and loud environment. I harnessed her up delicately so as not to frighten her any more than she already was. Angel is 5 years old. She is house trained and has lived with kids, cats, and dogs her whole life. She is great on the leash and she is a beautiful brindle color. Her petite frame carries a little extra weight in her midsection so walking with her will be beneficial and enjoyable! Angel is well balanced and well adjusted and ready to find her new home. Her doggie brother Beau is also at the shelter looking for a new home. He is in a different kennel and his id number is 1801-0378. Just ask for him if you’re interested in meeting him as well.
