AJ the Dog needs a home
AJ is a tiny bundle of love and energy. Her permanent one-ear-up look and small size make her look like a puppy even though she is an adult. Her favorite things include going on walks, napping, giving doggie kisses, playing with her toys, and snuggling up in our laps. She loves to sleep in her dog bed in our bedroom and will snuggle up in the big bed if you let her. Her chihuahua side can come out at times and cause her to bark at people or noises. Overall, she is very sweet and gets attached to one person but will get along and snuggle with anyone.
Some observed behaviors:
· AJ doesn’t do well with small children or some dogs but gets along fine with adults, although she may initially bark at the person until she gets to meet them. She gets along just fine with our dachshund.
· She is pretty well housebroken and quickly does her business. We had few indoor accidents during her transition into foster care with us.
· She is great on the leash when going on walks.
· She does very well in the car.
· I think she is pretty intelligent and could use a bit of basic training.
· She always wants to be by your side and always comes when called.
