Raising a puppy requires a lot of work and is a commitment! Dolce will be an awesome addition to a family that can give her the attention, exercise, training and affection she deserves.

Due to the fact that this is a mixed breed puppy, we, nor our vets, cannot guarantee the size that your dog will be.

Health: Dolce has been spayed and microchipped. She is current on her DHPP, Bordetella, and if 4 months or older, Rabies. She has been wormed, flea treated, and if 6 months or older tested negative for heartworm.

History: Dolce comes from an overcrowded shelter in California. PUP was asked to help and we are so glad we did. All dogs PUP pulls from California come with health certificates, as required by Washington state.

Notes from Dolce's Foster Home:

Hello, my name is Dolce, and I’m a sweet little girl looking for my forever home. I just recently arrived in Washington. Being a California girl, I’m not very fond of the cold and wet weather yet, so I prefer to wear a fleece when it’s time to go outside. I’m initially shy with new introductions, but it doesn’t take long for me to warm up to new friends. I really like to curl up next to my foster parents while they’re petting me. I also enjoy chasing my foster sister (Maltese) around the house. One of my favorite things to do is to take all of my toys out of the toy box and pile them up on the couch. Every now and then my spunky side comes out, but overall, I’m a fairly mellow girl that enjoys curling up on a soft blanket on the couch next to my pile of toys. I’m very quiet and I don’t bark much. I get along well with other dogs, but since I’m initially shy, I’d prefer to go slow with new introductions. I haven’t been observed around cats or kiddos yet.  Right now I’m working on the “come” and “stay” commands. I’ve learned how to walk nicely on a leash, I’m potty trained on a schedule, and I’m crate trained. I sleep quietly in my crate at night, ride quietly in my crate in the car, and eat my meals in my crate. I’d do well in a home with people who are willing to work with me to help me continue to build my confidence in this new and exciting world. I may come in a small package, but I certainly have a lot of love to give! I’d love to meet you and make your life complete.

Note: The above description reflects the behavior we have observed in the dog's foster home. Although PUP provides adopters up to the minute information on our dogs, we cannot guarantee they will behave in the same manner in a different environment with new owners.

Adoption: If you think you have room in your home and heart for this dog and you reside within Washington State, please go to our
