Hi, I’m Razzle. I am about 9 years old and weigh 85 pounds. I’m a lovable girl who seeks a forever home where I am wanted and loved. I can be very entertaining and love my squeaky toys. I also enjoy rolling in the grass and am friendly with the people I’ve met so far on my journey. 





As far as my eating and exercise habits, I do best on a regular schedule. I love mealtime and have had to learn some manners. I even can sit before they give me my food! I can do the shake command as well! As long as you have some treats for me :)





I am potty trained and do best when taken out regularly and immediately after meals. I let my family know when I need to go to the bathroom and only have accidents if my family doesn't take me out when I let them know, often by getting on your lap or gently mouthing your arm. Such a silly girl!





I can turn into a bouncing puppy on any day and love walks! I am a sniffer and take smells very seriously. I can get a little mesmerized by things that catch my eye since the outside world is all new to me. I wish I could be a detective, I would be a very good one! 





I think I would like to live in a home something like this:





  • An owner who can be a strong pack leader who also has a calm and confident disposition and can handle a large breed dog. Previous ownership with rottweiler or mastiff breeds would be beneficial!



  • No small household pets, since I have somewhat of a prey drive.




  • I prefer an adult only household. Children move fast and sometimes startle me.




  • I would love a quiet and calm home environment.




  • I hope for a neighborhood which has parks and nature paths to explore. 






I simply am looking for a pack to join and want your love and affection. Once you gain my adoration and respect, I will be such a wonderful companion and addition to your household. Love, Razzle

ADOPTION EVENTS:  




Adoption events are updated as the foster home RSVP's to attend. Check back for updates on which events they will be attending. Please understand that all of our pets are in volunteer foster homes and sometimes "life" happens and the foster family cannot make it to their scheduled adoption event. If you are traveling from a far distance to meet a specific animal, please understand we cannot guarantee event attendance. You may wish to consider applying and setting up a private appointment. Private appointments are only scheduled after an application is submitted and approved.

Note: In most circumstances Underdog Rescue will only adopt within 60 miles of Minneapolis, MN.

FOSTER CARE:





All of our animals are fostered in individual homes or doggie daycare facilities. While they are in our care, they are part of our families and given lots of love. We work on training, crate-training and socialization prior to adoption. Each animal's behavior is evaluated and we have a sense of its temperament and personality. We look for adopters who will give each animal the wonderful life and permanent home that he or she deserves. NUTRITION:





Nutrition is vital to the rehabilitation and life-long health of our pets.  All of our foster animals are fed a premium diet such as NutriSource, Canidae, Orijen, Nature's Variety, Fromm, Pure Vita, Stella and Chewy's, Primal, or balanced raw diet.  All adopters are required to continue providing premium diets for the life of the animal.
