Adopt a Coonhound (short coat)

Coonhound (short coat) Dog

Duke the Dog needs a home

Duke has spent most of his life on a chain.  His owner went to jail (for a very long time) so he needs to be rehomed.  He is not a hunting dog and has been mostly a guard dog and a family dog.  According to the neighbors, he was very good to the family and the kids but not so nice to anyone who visited that he didn't know.  But once he knows you, he loves you with all of his 75 pounds! Duke is now available for adoption to a good and loving home.

All pets are up to date on shots, have been dewormed, and treated for fleas. We are very rescue-friendly and have transport assistance to the northeast!
