Adopt a Rottweiler (short coat)

Meet a very happy and playful Rottweiler that loves to have fun!  This is Shuster, he is 1 ½ years old and a total sweetheart.  Shuster currently weights 77 lbs and has a little bit more of growing to do. He has a lot of puppy in him and has a great temperament.  When I rescued him there was a dog really trying to get at him but Shuster kept wagging his tail and trying to play with the dog.   Shuster gets along with other dogs and pays no attention to cats.  He is also very gentle.  He is crate trained and house trained but we are working on the house training more.  He does not have any accidents in the house but he wears a belly band to correct his leg lifting.  Shuster was just neutered and when a male dog is neuter it takes away their desire to lift their legs unless they are outside.  So we are diligently working on this so that Shuster will make an ideal pet/companion and family member with no faults.  We do not have a shelter; all of our dogs are fostered in private home so we try to train them in all areas while they are in our homes.  It would be ideal if anyone who is interested in adopting Shuster has experience with Rottweilers.  Rottweilers are very smart and loyal but they are also very strong.  I’d like to get Shuster into a home where he can maintain his playful puppy attitude and continue to just love everyone.  Please email [email protected] and tell them you want SHUSTER!!

GOD'S DOGS Rescue, in San Antonio TX, does not have a shelter - ALL of our dogs are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. UPON adoption this dog/pup will be transported to you in YOUR area!!

Each dog comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations that are appropriate for their age, micro-chipped, heart worm tested and on current on monthly flea/tick and heart worm preventative. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption.

****Please realize that breed mix and size when grown are guesstimates based on the dog/pup's characteristics and coloring, unless we have mother/father in our rescue...*****

ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE OF $200.00 for adoptions in TEXAS only. IF THIS IS AN OUT OF STATE ADOPTION, TRANSPORT TO YOU is included in the adoption fee of $400.00 for adult dogs and $450.00 for puppies.  We transport all over the country!!
