Hi, I'm Cookie a friendly Chihuahua mix who was rescued from Animal Services by C.A.R.L.'s Sam's Senior Dog Rescue Project after a neighbor brought me in after my owners passed away. I've been through a lot loosing both my parents and now I've lost my beloved "sister" and companion too. She sadly passed away after an incurable illness. I really need a home where I'll be showered with love and attention so I don't feel so all alone. I'm not a playful dog so I probably would do best in an adult only home. I might do ok if the children were gentle and respectful with me Sadly people by-pass the older dogs for whatever reasons they may have. I'd sure love to be back in the comforts of a home with somebody to take care of me for the rest of my life. Could that someone be you? If you have room in your heart and home for adorable me, please come and meet me.
