Adopt a Great Dane (short coat)

Great Dane (short coat) Dog

Harlow the Dog needs a home

Our website has information about this dog, our rescue, adoption process and link to our adoption application www.collarofhope.org

We are a foster home based rescue and have no facility to visit.

Prior to adoption, our dogs are spay/neutered, vaccinated including rabies/age appropriate, and parasite treated/prevented as a minimum.

?Harlow is a young dane who will greatly benefit from someone being around most of the time to continue training and guiding her.  She is a lovable girl, in your face type (literally) and fairly active.  Only homeowners with a securely fenced yard will be considered for her new home so she can open run like a gazelle which is a favorite thing for her.  Due to her age and size, only kids teenaged or older will be considered.  She is good with cats, dogs and kids though.  She's very friendly.  When she's outside and people pass the yard, she will bark at them and she's got a loud, very commanding bark too.  She's still a little bit wild on leash initially until she settles in to her walk.

?Her potential new home must have great dane or other giant breed experience, know proper nutrition, exercise needs (do's and don'ts) for a growing dane and know they are house dogs.
