Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat) Dog

1801-0547 Bahama the Dog needs a home

Bahama is young energetic girl. She had an incident at a dog park which landed her behind bars.  At her young adult age of 1-5 years old, Bahama seems house trained and I’m guessing ok with some dogs as her previous owner felt her good enough to take to the dog park to begin with. Unfortunately, dog parks can be filled with so many different personalities, incidents still may occur as play can turn into a fight quickly. Bahama is a happy and playful girl. Her soft brown fur is barely tinted with the light tan stripes of a brindle pattern.  She is jumpy out of the gate. She smiles and smiles! She could use some more leash work as her criss-crossing tripped me up a few times but practicing means more time together to bond and keep physical! You have to be aware with Bahama at the end of your leash! Bahama is fun and friendly. She’s energetic and needs daily exercise and playtime. Training and learning new tricks is also another viable activity to keep her mind sharp. An active family willing to allow Bahama to go for car rides and hiking would be perfect.  Currently Bahama is in a back kennel waiting for a space in adoption. Her id number is 1801-0547.  If you don’t see her, please just ask! Thank you for considering adoption!
