1801-1595 Rex the Dog needs a home
Handsome and regal, REX is a big boy. His gray fur shines in the sun. His big block head and muscular form command attention. Rex is 7 years old. He was surrendered when his owner became too ill to care for him. It’s very sad to know Rex’s life as he knew it was torn apart through no fault of his own. Rex seems a bit confused as to why he’s stuck in a cage but his attitude is not affected. He welcomed me to handle him and harness him up. He followed my lead out of the shelter. Rex was super easy on the leash walking around. His ears lie back gently onto his head. He looks to you for guidance. He’s used to being around humans. Rex would sniff around the yard and then come right back to me for pets and attention. He took treats gently from me and considering his size and looks, he is very gentle, easy going. He liked having his rump scratched, too! Rex is house trained, smart and a quick learner. He is said to be very friendly with humans which I saw right away. We're not sure how Rex feels about other dogs so bring yours in for a meet and greet! Come out and meet this handsome boy!
