The Aryan Molossus
Once a Warrior, Today a Loyal Companion and a Family-Protector

Should you ever decide that you need a big dog, with an imposing posture, which can look threatening and majestic at the same time, the Aryan Molossus is definitely one breed that you must take into consideration.

The Armant
The Egyptian Dog with a Lot of Love to Give

To some of you, the Armant is better known as the “Egyptian Sheepdog” and, just as the name suggests it, it was bred to be a herding dog. However, in ancient times, it was used mostly as a guard dog. This breed is originally from Egypt and named after the town of Armant. Its loyalty and agility are the two main characteristics which make this dog special.

The Atlas Terrier
The Small Dog With a Massive Dose of Energy

At a glimpse, the Atlas Terrier can be easily mistaken with the Jack Russell Terrier. However, there are some differences that may help you tell these two cousins apart. Before deciding to buy or adopt a dog of this breed, there are some things that you have to take into consideration. Unfortunately, this is quite a rare breed of dogs in our days.

Anglos-Francaises de Petite Venerie
It Is Impossible Not to Love Them

Anglos-Francaises de Petite Venerie are the smallest dogs in the Anglos-Francais category. However, the name „Petite”, meaning „small”, is not at all referring to the size of the dogs, but to the game they are after. Even if they've been around since the 16th century, today, these dogs are not easy to find. So if you have decided to adopt one, you can be sure that you will have a unique pet.

Overpriced. If you like being ripped off, go here for subpar service.

I have heard good things about Dr. Richie. Sadly we had Dr. Olson who was condescending and rude. To top it all off, we had an extended stay in the waiting room after our appointment for medicine that they didn't have in stock. We will NOT be returning.

Very passionate and always available to talk to even after hours.

Had a very quick, friendly visit, got my dog his kennel cough and checked out. They also trimmed his nails for me, (which he doesn't enjoy). Very reasonable price

We have taken our pets here for 20+ years. Staff is always polite and friendly. Occational waits but not nearly as bad as a people doctor! The three vets we've worked with were always kind to our animals and helpful in explaining procedures and findings. I HAVE recommended Bangor Vet Hospital to many people!

I have been here several times and everything has run so smoothly. I continue to go back for everything my pups need!

I worked in the "dog world" for a couple of years when I first moved here and this vet was HIGHLY recommended to me by a number of people. I personally do not like Dr. Olsen, and if I can help it I request not to see her. My personal favorite is Dr. Weston, but Dr. Richie & Dr. Remington are both extremely intelligent & helpful in explaining things. Sometimes I have found Dr. Richie's "bedside manner" a little lacking, but perhaps I'm more willing to put up with it given his obvious knowledge.

We have brought our amimals to Dr Richie and he has been a miracle worker helping us get a few more good years with our 2 Bouviers. and our diabetic cat. We had to put them down reciently and no one could have done it better . We are eternally grateful. and I tld him if my husband gets sick I am bringing him to Dr Richie. Many Blessings Anny

Was assured that I had the first appointment after their lunch and would be taken on time. I finally left when I'd been waiting for 22 minutes.

Love Dr. Ritchie! He has taken care of our cats, kittens, puppies and dogs for 11 years now. I wouldn't go anywhere else. The staff is always ready to help and the doctors are wonderful.

We have taken our animals to Dr. Ritchie for twelve years now. We did not hesitate to take our new puppy to Bangor Vet. Hospital as well. We are always treated kindly and are given multiple options to care for our pets. Quality care and reasonable pricing. Thanks to all the Dr.'s and staff for caring for our furry family members!

There's nobody like Dr. Richie. He's the absolute best. His diagnostic skills are top notch. He always offers a variety of options for treatment with consideration given to both the animal and the owner. He's compassionate and his bedside manner is superb. Dr. Remmington is also excellent. I would not even consider taking my dog and cat to anyone else for care. They are the best!

I give Dr.Richie,Dr.Remington and their staff a rating of a 5 for saving my dogs life last week. The doctor who did his first surgery Dr.Olson will never be allowed to work on any of my pets EVER ........If she had said she was sorry for what happened to Dylan it would have meant a lot but she never did. The staff and the other doctors were wonderful and i will bring my pets to them.....
-Dorothy Bonner.

I agree!! They are the best!! However, I do disagree with the comment about Dr. Olsen. I find her very compassionate and knowledgeable. They are very reasonably priced with great service!

Never again! After a 45 minute wait with 8 or 9 dogs in the waiting room all barking at the same time. My poor kitten will be traumatized forever thanks to this office.
