The Aryan Molossus
Once a Warrior, Today a Loyal Companion and a Family-Protector

Should you ever decide that you need a big dog, with an imposing posture, which can look threatening and majestic at the same time, the Aryan Molossus is definitely one breed that you must take into consideration.

The Armant
The Egyptian Dog with a Lot of Love to Give

To some of you, the Armant is better known as the “Egyptian Sheepdog” and, just as the name suggests it, it was bred to be a herding dog. However, in ancient times, it was used mostly as a guard dog. This breed is originally from Egypt and named after the town of Armant. Its loyalty and agility are the two main characteristics which make this dog special.

The Atlas Terrier
The Small Dog With a Massive Dose of Energy

At a glimpse, the Atlas Terrier can be easily mistaken with the Jack Russell Terrier. However, there are some differences that may help you tell these two cousins apart. Before deciding to buy or adopt a dog of this breed, there are some things that you have to take into consideration. Unfortunately, this is quite a rare breed of dogs in our days.

Anglos-Francaises de Petite Venerie
It Is Impossible Not to Love Them

Anglos-Francaises de Petite Venerie are the smallest dogs in the Anglos-Francais category. However, the name „Petite”, meaning „small”, is not at all referring to the size of the dogs, but to the game they are after. Even if they've been around since the 16th century, today, these dogs are not easy to find. So if you have decided to adopt one, you can be sure that you will have a unique pet.

I HAVE KNOWN DR.ALLEN AND HIS WIFE 22YRS AND HE EARNED MY RESPECT AND LOYALTY FROM THE 1ST VISIT WHEN HE WAS DOWN HOME, HONEST, DIDNT PUSH UNNEEDED TREATMENTS [HE'S NOT IN IT FOR THE MONEY}AND HE GAVE US HIS HOME PHONE NUMBER, ANSWERED HIMSELF AND TALKED TO ME ABOUT MY PET. YOU CANT FIND A BETTER VET OR PERSON THAN THAT. PS HE WAS RECOMMENED TO ME BY A TRUSTED ANIMAL LOVER.

Dr. Allen was the vet for my "kids" for over 30 years before I moved out of state. This man is a Saint of all Living Creatures who can't speak human. I wish I could find a Vet that could measure up to half of his compassion, skill and experience. I have been through 5 vets (they treat my kids like they are just another dog) in the 15 years since I left. I often consider the 1200 mile drive to NLR just to make sure my kids are taken care of.

Having been in this same location since 1967 the Allen Veterinary Clinic is not only a landmark but was here before practically anything else on the Jacksonville Freeway. This is a family operation and is first class all the way. Dr. Allen is well versed in all phases of his profession and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone with a pet that they want the absolute best care for. The clinic is always spotless and there is ample parking out front.
