West Highland White Terrier Rescue of California (also known as Westie Rescue of California) is a not-for-profit-organization (ANFPO) that is very active in providing breed education, rescue, fostering, medical and adoption services for abused, abandoned, neglected and/or homeless Westies. Our primary area includes Southern California. However, we are available to assist anywhere a Westie is in need in the United States when no other Westie Rescue group/individual is available to help. Westie Rescue of California is the only 501(c)(3) 'not-for-profit-organization' currently serving California's Westies in need. Westie Rescue of California is an all volunteer organization, with no paid positions. Westie Rescue of California is funded solely by donations and in kind contributions from the public. The founding directors have over 60+ years in the breed and are associated with WHWTC of California and WHWTC of America.
