Welcome Home Barnyard Sanctuary is a non-profit, no-kill, non-breeding shelter for unwanted, abused, and neglected farm animals. Serving the South Texas region since 2004, the shelter is the forever home to over 130 goats, sheep, horses, donkeys, cows, pigs, rabbits, chickens, ducks, turkeys, and even a baaby bison! Our shelter strivesboth to provide a safe and happy home for our barnyard friends and to educate the public about the sensitive, feeling and loving nature of beings typically thought of merely as livestock. We accept new residents as space allows and all donations go to the direct care of the animals.
