The goal of the Universal City Animal Control Division is to protect the health, safety, and general welfare of our residents and animals by enforcing the City of Universal City Animal Control Ordinances.
All domestic pets in the City of Universal City are required to be licensed. There is a $5.00 fee if the pet is not spayed or neutered; otherwise, the fee is $2.50. Proof of a current rabies vaccination is required. Pet Licenses can be obtained at the Universal City Animal Shelter, City Hall or at any Universal City Veterinarian Office.
