Transylvania County Animal Services is a county enforcement agency with an Animal Shelter at 379 Ross Road, Brevard NC. This is an adoption and rescue friendly shelter.
Adopting a friend
Adoption fees are $40.00 for dogs and $30.00 for cats, which includes a discount certificate for the local low cost spay and neuter clinic on Ecusta Road in Brevard. All animals are required to be altered and receive a rabies vaccine.

To visit the shelter– From Brevard take hwy 64 west, turn right on Catheys Creek Church Road, follow to Ross Road, turn right, the Animal Shelter is on the left past the curve. Shelter Hours Wednesday-Friday 1pm-6pm Saturday 10 am-12pm and 1pm to 3pm Please feel free to call with questions about any of the dogs. If you get the answering machine, leave a message.
