The Aryan Molossus
Once a Warrior, Today a Loyal Companion and a Family-Protector
Should you ever decide that you need a big dog, with an imposing posture, which can look threatening and majestic at the same time, the Aryan Molossus is definitely one breed that you must take into consideration.
The Armant
The Egyptian Dog with a Lot of Love to Give
To some of you, the Armant is better known as the “Egyptian Sheepdog” and, just as the name suggests it, it was bred to be a herding dog. However, in ancient times, it was used mostly as a guard dog. This breed is originally from Egypt and named after the town of Armant. Its loyalty and agility are the two main characteristics which make this dog special.
The Atlas Terrier
The Small Dog With a Massive Dose of Energy
At a glimpse, the Atlas Terrier can be easily mistaken with the Jack Russell Terrier. However, there are some differences that may help you tell these two cousins apart. Before deciding to buy or adopt a dog of this breed, there are some things that you have to take into consideration. Unfortunately, this is quite a rare breed of dogs in our days.
Anglos-Francaises de Petite Venerie
It Is Impossible Not to Love Them
Anglos-Francaises de Petite Venerie are the smallest dogs in the Anglos-Francais category. However, the name „Petite”, meaning „small”, is not at all referring to the size of the dogs, but to the game they are after. Even if they've been around since the 16th century, today, these dogs are not easy to find. So if you have decided to adopt one, you can be sure that you will have a unique pet.

Please come visit our shelter and find out about all the wonderful donation funds that the Town has established to not only aid the cats and kittens in our shelter but also the feral cats. Our T-92 account is used to trap, spay or neuter the different feral cat colonies in our Town. This great program to help the ferals is done by our group called Scats. Our T-93 account was established through one of our wonderful volunteers who obtained grants from Verizon where she is employed. This account is to help us medically take care of the cats and kittens at the shelter. Some of these poor kitties are sick or injured when we find them. Donations are desperately needed for this great cause. The last donation account that we have is called the T-94 account is used to medically treat our dogs that have special conditions such as being positive for heartworm, a leg that needs to be pinned, etc... This account will, hopefully, someday (with your help) will be used to enlarge the size of our shelter so that we can be a model shelter for the animals in our community. We now have a new roof and are working on getting new doors and having vinyl siding placed on the shelter. We can always use the following for the dogs: Pig's ears, hoofs, can dog food. For the cats: catnip toys, small treats, kitty litter, kitten formula, and can cat food. The shelter is open to the public Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm. On Saturday the shelter is open from 9 am to 5 pm. We are closed Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and holidays. We are, however, in the shelter on Monday and Wednesday accepting phone calls and caring for our animals.
