The Tippecanoe County Humane Society was founded in 1939 by a group of local animal lovers in Tippecanoe County. Since its beginnings more than 60 years ago, TCHS has been dedicated to improving the lives of animals in its community. We are not a government agency, are not affiliated with any national organization, and do not receive funds from the United Way. We are an open admission shelter and accept all animals in need, regardless of age, health or adoptability. As a local non profit we exist through the generosity of our community.
