This non-profit shelter rescues and rehabilitates all types of animals, from llamas, rabbits, ducks, and donkeys, to horses, dogs, and cats. Many of the rescued dogs come from puppy mills in the area, and desperately need homes and loving care. This is a no-kill shelter for any animal taken in. It is also the Richland County Pound, and there are strays and abandoned dogs and cats for adoption. There are currently more than 60 horses and 80 dogs being cared for, along with numerous cats, rabbits, and even tame arctic foxes.
