To qualify to adopt a collie from TCR, Inc., you start by submitting a completed adoption application, and by letting us know if we have a dog in which you are interested. If all goes well and we have a dog that seems right for you, we'll arrange for a phone or personal interview, reference check, and eventually arrange for a volunteer in your town to do a home visit or inspection. If you live outside of Tallahassee, we will find a local volunteer to do your home visit. Please consider that out-of-town adopters will be responsible for any transportation arrangements and expenses for getting your new dog to your home.
