The Aryan Molossus
Once a Warrior, Today a Loyal Companion and a Family-Protector

Should you ever decide that you need a big dog, with an imposing posture, which can look threatening and majestic at the same time, the Aryan Molossus is definitely one breed that you must take into consideration.

The Armant
The Egyptian Dog with a Lot of Love to Give

To some of you, the Armant is better known as the “Egyptian Sheepdog” and, just as the name suggests it, it was bred to be a herding dog. However, in ancient times, it was used mostly as a guard dog. This breed is originally from Egypt and named after the town of Armant. Its loyalty and agility are the two main characteristics which make this dog special.

The Atlas Terrier
The Small Dog With a Massive Dose of Energy

At a glimpse, the Atlas Terrier can be easily mistaken with the Jack Russell Terrier. However, there are some differences that may help you tell these two cousins apart. Before deciding to buy or adopt a dog of this breed, there are some things that you have to take into consideration. Unfortunately, this is quite a rare breed of dogs in our days.

Anglos-Francaises de Petite Venerie
It Is Impossible Not to Love Them

Anglos-Francaises de Petite Venerie are the smallest dogs in the Anglos-Francais category. However, the name „Petite”, meaning „small”, is not at all referring to the size of the dogs, but to the game they are after. Even if they've been around since the 16th century, today, these dogs are not easy to find. So if you have decided to adopt one, you can be sure that you will have a unique pet.

At Sweet Haven Pet Rescue we pride ourselves in our ability to help homeless, unwanted, and surrendered animals with the opportunity to find love and companionship as well as a forever home. With the high likely that these pets would end up in a high-kill shelter or pound we offer alternatives and support no-kill practices. Sweet Haven is completely made up of volunteers who care enough to try to help make a difference. Sweet Haven Pet Rescue is a non-profit organization and fully rely on donations and adoptions to help continue our cause. We strive to leave no pet unloved and without a home. Sweet Haven Pet Rescue ensures that before you adopt you have a complete history of the pet prior to adoption, so you know as much as we and nothing is left to chance or question. All pets are fully Vetted, spayedneutered, microchipped, and house trained. We try to also work in basic commands for our canine friends. Sweet Haven along with our Foster Volunteers work diligently to resocialize all pets and never leave them a day without the love and affection they need. Our fosters are the tip of the spear. Without these wonderful volunteers our ability to help these pets would be for not. Our fosters dedicate their time and energy to prepare these animals to make a smooth and unstressful transition into your family. Sweet Haven fosters also help develope a treatment plan for each pet, identifying their strengths and working on their weaknesses. It is an important task and we applaud our Fosters. Should you find yourself in a position where you must surrender your pet, please be relieved in us telling you that the companion you must part with will be in the BEST care possible. We match all incoming pets with the foster that would best suite their needs. The pet is our number one priority and all medical treatment, care, and financial support will be givin through the generous donations of our supporters, adoptions, and foster initiative.
