Strays and Others is a volunteer-run, 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue and placement of homeless and unwanted animals. We provide refuge and santuary to all who enter and can have up to 50 animals at any given time (mostly cats and dogs). The animals who are taken in are provided with medical care, spaying or neutering, and temperment testing or obedience training. We are proud of an unusually high success rate of matching pets and families, and our adoption counselors can help guide you toward the right companion animal for you and your family for the match of a lifetime! We are always in need of temporary Foster Homes for cats and dogs. We welcome volunteers with talents in all areas, and we rely upon the generosity of the community to fund this gentle mission. (c)
