The St. Charles Parish Humane Society is a non-profit volunteer organization established in 1993 providing adoption services at the St. Charles Parish Animal Shelter. Funding allows for low cost sterilization of pets for families unable to afford the usual procedure costs.

For the past several years the shelter has been in desperate need of an upgrade. This change to provide a better "rest stop" for the animals at the shelter and to better serve our community, will cost us a minimum of 1 million dollars. If you would like to contribute to our society and help the animals, donations can be directly given to the shelter via mail or drop-off. Or you can click on the link to our homepage at the bottom of this page and go under RESOURCES where there is a direct link to our PayPal account. Thank you for your continued support!!
