Our staff members in this section are Dan Diener (left), Debbie Pedersen (center), and Stephanie Hyden-Leek (right). The Animal Services Section works hard to serve the huge amount of animal related calls for service in South Salt Lake and Holladay City. In addition, the officers serve the citizen inquiry at the shelter by phone and in person.
The section has experienced a wonderful increase in walk-in customers at the shelter, located at 2274 South and 600 West. This equates to low or no euthanasia and more adoption and rescue through our shelter.
