Safe Hounds Beagle Rescue, Inc. is an all volunteer, nonprofit, foster-based dog rescue founded for the purpose of saving abandoned, neglected, and stray Beagles and Beagle mixed dogs and adopting them into loving homes. We are dedicated to alleviating the suffering and needless euthanasia of dogs in pounds and animal shelters by acquiring our dogs from them. Our commitment to each dog encompasses both their physical and psychological needs. Our comprehensive care includes a wide range of veterinary services, rehabilitation, and training in a supportive, nurturing, environment that prepares each dog to be adopted into a permanent home. We strive to prevent future displacement of Beagles by educating the public about dogs with emphasis on the humane treatment of all companion animals, proper care and guardianship, the importance of spayingneutering to reduce pet overpopulation, and to raise awareness of companion animal welfare issues.
