It is a new building located in the outskirts of town, past Wal Mart, behind the old Fruit of the Loom plant.
IMPORTANT MANY animals are brought in every day which have either been picked up by animal control or surrendered by their owners. Because of the number of unwanted pets, lack of space makes it impossible to keep them until they get adopted, and the sad and awful truth is that many will therefore be EUTHANIZED !
If you are interested in an animal please call 337 394-1220 immediately and leave a message and phone number. It may be difficult to reach someone on the phone because the staff has so much to do, but please keep trying.
