The Aryan Molossus
Once a Warrior, Today a Loyal Companion and a Family-Protector

Should you ever decide that you need a big dog, with an imposing posture, which can look threatening and majestic at the same time, the Aryan Molossus is definitely one breed that you must take into consideration.

The Armant
The Egyptian Dog with a Lot of Love to Give

To some of you, the Armant is better known as the “Egyptian Sheepdog” and, just as the name suggests it, it was bred to be a herding dog. However, in ancient times, it was used mostly as a guard dog. This breed is originally from Egypt and named after the town of Armant. Its loyalty and agility are the two main characteristics which make this dog special.

The Atlas Terrier
The Small Dog With a Massive Dose of Energy

At a glimpse, the Atlas Terrier can be easily mistaken with the Jack Russell Terrier. However, there are some differences that may help you tell these two cousins apart. Before deciding to buy or adopt a dog of this breed, there are some things that you have to take into consideration. Unfortunately, this is quite a rare breed of dogs in our days.

Anglos-Francaises de Petite Venerie
It Is Impossible Not to Love Them

Anglos-Francaises de Petite Venerie are the smallest dogs in the Anglos-Francais category. However, the name „Petite”, meaning „small”, is not at all referring to the size of the dogs, but to the game they are after. Even if they've been around since the 16th century, today, these dogs are not easy to find. So if you have decided to adopt one, you can be sure that you will have a unique pet.

Rescue Me" Pet Rescue was formed when it became apparent that many animals were being passed over or put down because of behavior problems from neglect, abuse and abandonment. We have over 30 years experience in rehabilitation and have taken in many that would otherwise never have a chance to be loved or to know that 'fear' is not a necessary part living. So we ask that when you consider adopting, that you understand first and foremost these are very special and precious animals who, despite all the trauma in their lives, are willing once again to reach out and trust someone. We have had much success in matching these wonderful creatures to new forever homes over the years. And we certainly thank our Heavenly Father for His assistance because some of the rescues and placements are nothing short of a miracle. Perhaps you would like a little miracle in your life. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Unfortunately,I must add a little side note. Since we are a rescue, we are usually willing to aid or assist if an animal is in need, however I cannot stess strongly enough -'Please' be forthright in the animals health and temperment if a surrender or rescue is necessary. We understand if an animal has problems that need to be dealt with. What is difficult is when we are lied to and discover 'after the fact' that we have a problem. This makes for a difficult and sometimes heartwrenching decision we then have to make. Let me emphasize that 'very few' rescues are so unstable that for their own sake, because they are too sick or too much of a risk for placement, they must be put down. This rarely happens. But when it does we need the public to know that we have done 'everything' possible but sometimes it just isn't enough. Sometimes the trauma was so severe it breaks the animals spirit, it cannot recover and will spend its life in fear of everything and everyone. These are situations that are extremely difficult for us so we simply ask that if you have or have found an animal that needs help, that we be 'fully' informed, even if it has a bad history - this isn't always a doomsday end; many can be rehabed. And we do sincerely appreciate your help in being forthright regarding the animals condition. This allows us to find the right foster and the correct means to help the animal toward a better life. If you hear derogatory statements regarding the 'unnecessary'euthanasia of a cat or a dog, please know that we have exhausted all possible means of rehabing the animal and have consulted with professonal behavorists and veterinarians before 'any' final decision is made. We hope this helps in your understanding of the difficult choices we sometimes must make.)
