Rainbow Rescue & Adoption of (North Central) West Virginia (Fairmont) was founded as a formal manifestation of the rescue and adoption efforts conducted primarily by Kammi Kai Hefner, her immediate family members, and close friends. Over the past 30 years these individuals have personally rescued and adopted numerous abandoned animals in WV (primarily dogs). In other words, most all of the dogs and cats ended-up living with one of us!

We are not a rescue organization in the traditional sense (.i.e, we DO NOT have a facility), we are: "Rescue in Cyberspace!", "A Rainbow of Friends! Helping Friends" networked via the Internet to help our animal Friends!
