Pound Pals accepts senior dogs when their senior owners are no longer able to care for them or are entering a nursing home. Pound Pals also accepts dogs when an owner has passed away. Pound Pals works with several shelters and accepts death row shelter dogs who are scheduled for euthanasia. In general, we do not accept dogs from the general public unless the dogs is a senior, the owner is a senior and can no longer care for the dog or the owner has passed away and there is no family willing to care for the dog. For all others, we do offer a free rehoming service to help you rehome your pet. We are a foster based organization and are always in need of reliable foster homes.
