We're a non-profit, community-based group organized in February of 2005. We rescue and find permanent loving homes for the stray and unwanted animals of central Illinois, from Virginia Cass County to the Greater Springfield Sangamon County Area. To do this we rely on the support of many volunteers in our community. Our group has grown with the support of many people around the state and the country. We often work with other animal rescue groups and shelters in Chicago, St. Louis, Champaign-Urbana, Decatur, Bloomington, Normal, and Peoria, to find homes for as many dogs of all breeds and sometimes cats as we can.
