P.A.W.S. is a non-profit, 100% volunteer organization
serving the people and animals of Greene County.
P.A.W.S continues to provide these valuable community services
through the generosity of people like you.
The services your volunteers provide on an on going basis include:
* Daily care, feeding and maintainance at the shelter facility
* Community Education
* Abuse/Neglect Investigations
* Adoption and adoption awareness
* Low Income Vet Assistance Programs
* Trap and Return on Ferral Cats
PAWS started out as a small group of people who were concerned about the local animal welfare and the number of adoptable pets that were being destroyed.
PAWS was chartered and had their organizational meeting in April 1991.
They were instrumental in lobbying with city and county government to get desperately needed facility improvements made.
