All animals adopted from the Pender County Humane Society are tested for heartworms and feline leukemia. All animals are spayed or neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations prior to adoption. Adoption fees are $150 for pure bred dogs or $125 for mixed bred dogs and $75 for cats. (Please remember the adoption costs cover spay/neuter, vaccination and vet testing fees.)
