Our mission is to provide foster care, consisting of temporary shelter and feed for dogs and horses, for owners that are facing immediate economic hardships, and to provide assistance for established horse rescue organizations, other animal sanctuaries, law enforcement and all other animal welfare agencies, by offering a temporary safe haven to care for lost, unwanted and abandoned dogs and horses. Our countywide program will additionally strive to provide the following 1 To further assist qualified individuals by creating a Feed Bank for both dogs and horses to help insure proper diet and nutrition when the animal is able to return home. 2 To work with local law enforcement and animal welfare agencies with the rescue, transport, and temporary care for any lost, stray, or abandoned dogs or horses. Every possible effort will be made in finding the original owner, or a new owner, for any animal brought to our facility. 3 To find other needed assistance such as veterinary, farrier, or euthanasia services for animals brought to our facility.
