Who We Are: Paws Rescue, located in Vicksburg, MS, is composed of a small army of volunteers dedicated to helping animals in need.
Our Mission: Paws Rescue is dedicated to rescuing stray and abandoned dogs and cats, restoring them to health, ensuring they are spayed or neutered and placing them in loving and responsible “forever” adoptive homes.
Our Vision: Paws Rescue is working toward the time when there are no more stray, abandoned, neglected or abused pets.
Our Philosophy: Paws Rescue is a no-kill, non-profit agency. We believe every pet has the right to a happy, healthy and safe existence. All pets in Paws Rescue are treated for medical illnesses, spayed or neutered, and vaccinatedbefore they are adopted to families. Because many of our pets require lengthy stays our foster care before they find their “forever” homes and because we do not euthanizes pets, we have a limit on the number of animals we can care for at any given time.
Our Adoption Policy: Paws Rescue takes adoption very seriously and will only adopt to individuals and families who have been thoroughly screened. Each individual adopting from Paws Rescue will have to meet specific requirements and sign a contract. Once an animal is adopted, if the owner can no longer care for the pet, it must be returned to Paws Rescue. Adopted pets cannot be sold or given away by the owner.
Our Adoption Fees: Paws Rescue adoption fees are $100 for dogs and $50 for cats.
