If you adopted a pet from the Paragould Animal Welfare Society we hope it has been a source of joy and love for you and your family. We want to thank you for providing a loving, responsible home. Others have turned to PAWS to take in a stray animal and we were there to help. Whichever the case these adopted and surrendered pets are the lucky ones. They have PAWS or a family to care for them. But as you know not all animals are so lucky. The PAWS shelter is a place of care and sanctuary and has been for thousands of animals that were hungry and homeless. We strive each day to provide loving care until a permanent home is found. In addition to helping the homeless we take in lost pets until they can be reunited with their owners.

PAWS is non-profit and volunteer based and is in dire need of more community support to keep this very important shelter open. With more resources the homeless animals of Greene County will have a second chance for a loving home. These resources will allow us to afford more medical services for the abused and neglected animals that enter our doors each day. These resources also help support the PAWS Community Imprints support group. This group funds discount spay/neuter programs to help end the cycle of unwanted litters (it is these litters which enter our shelter), goes into the local classrooms to teach our children the importance of spaying and neutering and humane education, and provides the elderly with visits through our pet therapy program at Greene Acres Nursing Home.

Won't you help us continue our non-profit animal shelter and programs to help the homeless pets of Greene County by sending a $20 or more donation today? $20 will entitle you to a PAWS yearly membership and you will receive our quarterly newsletter and receive 10% off office visits and vaccinations at the Paragould Animal Clinic and Veterinary Healthcare, Inc. If you give more, there are more animals that will be helped but a gift of any size would be greatly appreciated. All donations are tax deductible. The animals and PAWS thank you in advance!
