Each year millions of unwanted cats and dogs are euthanized in the United States. The main cause of animal euthanasia is owners failing to have thier pets spayed/neutered, thus producing unwanted offspring. The number of animals being euthanized has skyrocketed in recent years, but is preventable.
PAAW is a non-profit organization whose efforts are dedicated towards a future where there will be No More Homeless Pets. We believe such a future is possible through community spay/neuter programs, puppy mill closures, and public education on responsible pet ownership.
We are dedicated towards rescuing and nurturing the homeless pets in the Acadiana area.
