Northeast Ohio Collie Rescue was founded in November of 1995 by a group of individuals interested in the welfare of the Collie. Many of the original members were and are involved with the Collie, breed organizations both local and national, many participate in obedience organizations as well as volunteering in pet therapy. We are a not-for-profit organization (501c3), chartered in the state of Ohio. Our primary goal is to help Collies that need homes, to find homes. We work in cooperation with local animal shelters, providing referrals and foster care when possible, as well as assisting families in distress that can no longer keep their Collie.
