Boxers come to NorCal Boxer Rescue from shelters, as strays, and from owners who need to give up their dogs due to changing life circumstances such as: relocation, financial hardship, divorce, illness, or death. NorCal Boxer Rescue provides the animals veterinary care (often in the hundreds and sometimes into the thousands of dollars), spay/neuter, shots, high quality food, a temporary foster home not a kennel), love, and placement into a home for life under a contract that dictates their humane care.
