The Aryan Molossus
Once a Warrior, Today a Loyal Companion and a Family-Protector
Should you ever decide that you need a big dog, with an imposing posture, which can look threatening and majestic at the same time, the Aryan Molossus is definitely one breed that you must take into consideration.
The Armant
The Egyptian Dog with a Lot of Love to Give
To some of you, the Armant is better known as the “Egyptian Sheepdog” and, just as the name suggests it, it was bred to be a herding dog. However, in ancient times, it was used mostly as a guard dog. This breed is originally from Egypt and named after the town of Armant. Its loyalty and agility are the two main characteristics which make this dog special.
The Atlas Terrier
The Small Dog With a Massive Dose of Energy
At a glimpse, the Atlas Terrier can be easily mistaken with the Jack Russell Terrier. However, there are some differences that may help you tell these two cousins apart. Before deciding to buy or adopt a dog of this breed, there are some things that you have to take into consideration. Unfortunately, this is quite a rare breed of dogs in our days.
Anglos-Francaises de Petite Venerie
It Is Impossible Not to Love Them
Anglos-Francaises de Petite Venerie are the smallest dogs in the Anglos-Francais category. However, the name „Petite”, meaning „small”, is not at all referring to the size of the dogs, but to the game they are after. Even if they've been around since the 16th century, today, these dogs are not easy to find. So if you have decided to adopt one, you can be sure that you will have a unique pet.

Newburgh SCATS stands simply for “SAVE CATS”. We are a New York State non-profit 501 © 3 tax exempt corporation formed to care for and protect the abandoned felines who every day are dumped behind shopping centers, diners, wherever there is a dumpster. Uncaring people seem to think these cats and kittens can take care of themselves. At the present time SCATS is concentrating all efforts on 7 cat colonies in the Town Of Newburgh. Newburgh SCATS is trying to Spay or Neuter the cats that are regular residents of these colonies, and see to it that they are vet checked and given all their shots so disease a these colonies is at a minimum. We also remove any new arrivals as soon as they are dumped at the colony so they do not become wild and distrusting of people. We have them spayed or neutered and AidsLeukemia tested and given their shots. At present we need Foster homes for some of these cats, they are friendly and need to be adopted, instead so Spaying and releasing the back to the colony where the regular resident cats do not want them their, we take them in and try to adopt them out. These colonies have people that feed them every day out of our own pocket. All money raised or donated goes directly into our medical fund for these cats. Donations are always needed for medical expenses for these cat and kittens.
We also have a neighborhood stray program we will help you spay or neuter the cat that is hanging around you home if you promise to feed it and provide shelter. Also if you have a way to get catch these cats and transport them to the T.A.R.A. mobile spayneuter van in middletown we will help you with the cost. We only deal with stray, abandonedferal cats. We do not do peoples pets.
